Greinert & Glatt GmbH is an internationally operating B2B online retailer from Germany specializing in automation technology components.

Since 2003, we have been providing fast and reliable service to a steadily growing number of customers in Europe and around the world. Consistent customer focus, an innovative, dedicated team, and our proprietary software modules are the pillars of our success.

We offer a broad, multi-vendor portfolio of standard automation technology components that are either immediately available or can be backordered at short notice. We currently have more than 40,000 items in stock, ready for immediate shipment. We offer these at attractive fixed prices, typically well below the manufacturers’ list prices. Most of our items are new and factory-sealed. We also offer items in opened original packaging, as well as refurbished and used items at even better prices. All our items come with a 12-month warranty.

The company is headquartered in Engen, Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany. Our warehouse and main building are located in Ravensburg.

Offer / Items

We specialize in the fast delivery of standard automation components that are in stock and immediately available or can be backordered at short notice. Our product portfolio spans multiple manufacturers and includes both current and discontinued components. We carry original products from Siemens, Yaskawa Vipa, Helmholz, Schneider Electric, Phoenix Contact, Festo, Beckhoff, Sick, IFM, Wago, Allen Bradley, ABB, Moxa, and many other brands.

We source products directly from manufacturers, wholesalers, warehouse liquidations, and project and stock surplus. It is possible to reorder items from Yaskawa Vipa, Helmholz, Phoenix Contact, ABB, and Moxa that are not currently in stock but available at the manufacturer. In addition, we can procure items from a broad partner network on short notice.

This allows us to offer our customers a “one-stop shop” for all automation technology needs, whether complete project equipment or spare parts, e.g. in case of machine downtimes.

Component conditions/quality levels

We offer items in various conditions and quality levels. The majority of these are manufacturer sealed items. In addition, we offer a wide range of new items with opened original packaging or neutral packaging, as well as refurbished and used items, all at even more attractive prices. All our items are fully functional, regardless of the quality grade. The warranty period is generally 12 months (see further information below).

Our quality levels:

  • -MFS- New original manufacturer sealed item
  • -FS- New original manufacturer sealed item, possibly older production date, better discount
  • -NEW- New item in opened original packaging or neutral packaging
  • -RFUR- Refurbished item in opened original packaging or neutral packaging, fully functional
  • -USED- Used item in opened original packaging or neutral packaging, fully functional

Stock and quantities

Available components are marked with a corresponding green icon and the current quantity immediately available is displayed for each item.

Items displayed with the green “Request” button are usually available at short notice from a partner's warehouse.

The displayed stock data is continuously updated. In very rare exceptional cases, there may be order overlaps over which we have no control. If items are not available as ordered, you will be informed immediately in any case and we will seek a solution.

Warranty

The warranty period for all items sold by us is 12 months, if the damage is not due to improper handling or operation.

If a component supplied by us is faulty or defective, we will provide a replacement as quickly as possible. If this is not possible, non-functioning items can be returned to us for credit note. For the return, we require a description of the defect, a copy of the delivery note or invoice, and the item's serial number.

We will provide you with a return form, which must be completed and included in the package. The return shipment must be packed carefully to prevent damage. After receiving and inspecting the returned item, the corresponding credit note will be issued.

Our offer is intended exclusively for commercial customers. Delivery by us is subject to our Terms and Conditions.

All prices listed in this shop are net fixed prices. We do not provide documents such as certificates of origin, supplier declarations, data sheets, or other certificates.

Technical information or data sheets can usually be downloaded from the manufacturers' websites.


Prices

All offered items are well discounted, generally below the manufacturers' list prices. All shop-prices are indicated without registration and are discounted as much as possible in a completely transparent manner. Customer-specific discounts, volume discounts, etc. are not possible. There are no surcharges for small quantities.


Order

You can order from us directly via the webshop or by email. Telephone orders are possible in exceptional cases.

When ordering via the webshop, you will receive an automatic email confirming receipt of the order. If this email does not reach you, please send a message to mail@greinert-glatt.de.

The processed order will be confirmed as soon as possible by separate email. Order processing is usually done in the sequence of the order receipt. Order overlaps are possible.
Please also provide us with an email address for the correct receipt of invoice.

VAT ID Number

For deliveries within the EU, a valid VAT-ID number for cross border transactions is required.


Payment

Prepayment is required for EU customers and international customers.
For orders up to EUR 10000.-, direct and convenient payment via PayPal, credit card or debit card is also possible directly in the shop.

For delivery by pre-payment, the invoice will be sent to you as soon as possible via email. Dispatch after receipt of advanced payment or remittance sheet (in -pdf- format). In order to ship same day proof of payment is required before 4:30 pm CET (Mon. - Fri.).


Shipment

We ship to the EU and worldwide from our warehouse in Ravensburg, Germany (Greinert & Glatt GmbH, Theodor-Krumm-Str. 10, 88213 Ravensburg). Direct collection on site in Ravensburg is also possible. Any returns must be sent exclusively to this address.

After dispatch orders placed Monday to Friday before 16:30 p.m. are shipped with one of our service providers and the shipment is confirmed by email. With the shipping notification, you will receive a copy of the delivery note and the tracking information.

We offer express shipping as well as shipping on customer account. Shipping by courier or taxi is also possible on request. Deliveries to a delivery address that differs from the billing address can also be offered. Please note that therefore valid VAT identification numbers for the billing and delivery recipients must be provided for EU triangular transactions.

Shipping costs

Shipping costs depend on the destination country, shipping method, weight and value of the goods. Shipping

  • within Germany: The shipping costs are displayed when ordering via the shop (standard and express)
  • to the EU: The shipping costs for standard deliveries are displayed in the shop. For express deliveries, the costs are calculated according to expenses and you will be informed by email.
  • worldwide: The costs are calculated according to expenses and you will be informed by email.

For deliveries weighing >10 kg, the shipping costs are generally calculated at the optimal rate. You will be informed by email.


Repair

Through a broad network of specialised partner companies, we also offer repair services for automation components. Both current and obsolete items can be submitted for inspection and repair. You will receive a response to repair requests as quickly as possible with transparent information about the costs and the repair time.
